The Larimer Alliance for Health, Safety and the Environment and Colorado Rising will host a webinar on March 16, 2022 at 6:00 pm to answer the question, “Why is it, in a state celebrated for its clean mountain air, that counties in Northern Colorado have received a failing grade for their air quality in updated surveys from the American Lung Association?”

Featured Speakers Include:

  • Cory Carroll, MD, Former PSR Colorado Chair and Family Physician

  • Detlev Helmig, PhD, Atmospheric Scientist and Founder of BoulderAir

  • Andrew Klooster, Certified Optical Gas Imaging Thermographer with EarthWorks

From the Organizers:

Northern Colorado Air Quality is an online event to be presented by the Larimer Alliance for Health, Safety, & the Environment and Colorado Rising on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 PM. Expert speakers will highlight the nature of oil and gas emissions problems, the critical public health effects they cause, and the need for accurate, real-time monitoring of air quality in our region. We can then discuss the need for more civic engagement for necessary action from our regional governments and regulators.
